Wix Mobile Apps: Editing Your Profile and Privacy Settings on the Member Apps

In the Spaces by Wix and Fit by Wix member apps, you have a default profile that shows your name and photo on every site you own or join. You can personalize your profile for each site by updating your name, photo, and privacy settings.

Choose to make your profile public, so other members can view your info and interact with you, or keep it private, which hides your details and limits interaction. Manage each site’s profile separately to control how you appear in every community.

Note:

You can only set your profile to private on sites you're a member of.

To edit your profile and privacy settings:

Spaces by Wix

1. Open the Spaces by Wix app.

2. Tap My Profile

   

   at the bottom.

3. Tap View Profile at the top right.

4. Choose what you want to do:

Edit your default profile

Your default profile displays your photo and name. This information is used for all sites that you own or are a member of.

1. Tap Edit Default Profile.

2. Make the relevant changes to your profile:

   • Profile picture: Tap the Camera icon

     

     and choose an option:

     • Take Photo: Take a new photo with your phone.

     • Choose from Device: Select an existing photo from your phone.

     • Remove Photo: Delete your existing profile photo.

   • Profile name: Enter your name in the relevant fields.

3. Tap Save.

   

Edit your site profiles

Customize your profile photo, personal details and privacy settings for each site that you own/ are a member of.

1. Tap the site in which you want to change your profile.

2. Choose what you want to do:

   • Edit profile: Update your profile for the site.

     1. Tap Edit profile.

     2. Make the relevant changes to your profile:

        • Profile picture: Tap the Camera icon

          

          and tap an option:

          • Take Photo: Take a new photo with your phone.

          • Choose from Device: Select an existing photo from your phone.

          • Remove Photo: Delete your existing profile photo.

        • Profile name: Type the profile name you want other members to see.

        • About Me: Write a little about yourself to share with other members.

        • Overview: Update and edit information your share with the community such as your name, email and phone number.

          Tip: You can choose what information to make public or private by tapping the Lock icon

          

          next to the relevant field.

        • Privacy Settings: Choose who can view and interact with your profile:

          1. Tap the Public Profile toggle to change your profile visibility:

             • Enabled: Your profile is visible to everyone, and members can interact with you.

             • Disabled: Members cannot view your profile or interact with you.

          2. Tap Confirm.

             

   • Edit About Me: Write a little about yourself, share your interest, add pictures and videos.

3. Tap Save.

Tip: Tap Reset to Default Profile at any time if you want to use the profile details from your default profile.

Fit by Wix

1. Open the Fit by Wix app.

2. Tap your profile icon at the top.

3. Choose what you want to do:

Edit your default profile

1. Tap Switch Business.

2. Tap the profile of the site you want to change.

3. Tap your profile icon at the top and tap your name.

4. Choose what you want to do:

   • Edit profile: Update your profile for your site:

     1. Tap Edit profile.

     2. Make the relevant changes to your profile:

        • Profile picture: Tap the Camera icon

          

          and tap an option:

          • Take Photo: Take a new photo with your phone.

          • Choose from Device: Select an existing photo from your phone.
