The Quick Edit panel allows you to make changes to your section content and structure on the go. You can change the content of elements to keep your site pages fresh and informative.

Editing section content

Update all of your section's content from one easy place. Replace elements such as text and images, and change your section's background to keep the design fresh.

To change the section content:

1. Go to your editor.

2. Click the section.

3. Click the Quick edit

   

   icon.

4. Select the relevant element from the panel.

5. Update / replace the element.

6. (Optional) Click the Settings icon

   

   to update the element's settings.

7. Click the Close icon

   

   to exit the panel.

Can I switch back to a previous layout in the panel?

Absolutely. While previewing options in the Explore section layouts tab, select the preview under Current layout to revert your section.

Note: If you select a new layout and close the panel, it is not possible to switch back to your section's previous layout from the panel. However, you can use the Undo and Redo tools to revert the changes.

Is there another way to access the panel?

You can also access the panel by selecting your section, then clicking Quick Edit

How do I update text in a section?

1. Open the Content tab in the Quick Edit panel.

2. Select the relevant text field, and enter your new text into it.

3. Click the Close icon

   

   to exit the panel.

Can I use the panel to customize the design of elements?

The Quick edit panel provides a way to change your section's layout and content on the go. As element types have different features and options, they're customized individually. You can change the design of section elements with the following steps:

1. Close the Quick edit panel.

2. Select the relevant element.

3. Click the Design icon

   

   and make the changes you want.

How do I customize the design of my section?

Use tools such as scroll effects, shape dividers, and more to make your section look how you want.
