Removing the Wix Banner Ad and Favicon

Wix gives you the tools you need to create a stunning website for free. Your free site includes a Wix banner ad at the top and has a Wix favicon in the browser tab.

To remove the Wix banner ad from your site and use your own favicon, you need to upgrade to a Premium plan that includes these features.

The Proudly Created With Wix text, which appears in the footer inside your Editor, can be edited at any time. You do not need to purchase a Premium plan to edit it. Simply double click the text box to change what it says.
