Create a custom site on the fly, straight from your mobile device. To create your site from mobile, you can either use the Wix app, or go to Wix.com on your browser.

Creating a new site from the Wix app

Create a new site on-the-go using the Wix app. Give your customers the convenience of connecting with your business directly from their mobile devices through one of the Wix member apps.

Whether they're browsing products, reading your latest blog posts, scheduling services, or staying in the loop with updates, your members can effortlessly engage with your offerings.

Before you begin:

Download the Wix app to your mobile device.

To create a new site from the Wix app:

1. Go to the Wix app on your mobile device.

2. Choose an option:

   • If this is your first site with Wix: Tap Create Now.

   • If you already have a Wix site:

     1. Tap the site name at the top of your screen.

     2. Tap + Create New at the bottom.

3. Choose how you want to start creating your site:

Chat to the AI assistant

Tell the AI assistant about the site you want to create and get personalized tools, images and text.

1. Use the options to tell the assistant what you want, such as the pages you'd like to add, your logo etc.

2. Read the site profile to ensure it's correct.

3. Click End Chat & Continue.

Set up manually, without the AI assistant

Set up your site without AI assistance.

1. Type a category or select a category from the list:

   • Blog: Start a blog and share content with members.

   • Online Store: Showcase and manage your products.

   • Beauty: Reach out to people with the latest beauty products and services that fits their needs.

   • Fitness: Inspire people to get healthy and stay in shape.

   • Portfolio: Exhibit your latest projects and collections.

   • Restaurant: Share menus, take orders and grow your customer base.

   • Event: Create and promote exciting events to maximize attendance.

   • Consultant: Unveil the expertise you can offer potential clients.

   • Technology Company: Highlight products and services and elevate your brands online presence.

2. Click Next.

3. Select the apps you want to add.

   Note: After you add an app from the Wix app, you need to go to the editor and add the pending app to your site.

4. Enter your site's name.

5. Click Let's Go.

What's next?

You can edit your site on mobile, from anywhere, at any time. Edit directly from the Wix app, mobile browser or from your Wix account on desktop.

Creating a new site from your mobile device's browser

You can also create a new site from your mobile device's browser if you prefer not to download the Wix app.

After choosing from several options that help pinpoint what your site is about, Wix builds the site for you. You can then customize the site to your liking and publish it to go live.

To create a new site from your mobile browser:

1. Log in to Wix.com from a supported browser on your mobile device.

   Note: If you do not have a Wix account, sign up.

2. Tap + Create New Site at the bottom.

3. (First time only) Select who the site is for.

   Tip: If you select A client, a freelancer, or agency, you will then be asked to download the Wix Studio app.

4. Choose how to create the new site:

Chat to the AI assistant

Tell the AI assistant about the site you want to create and get personalized tools and features to best manage your new site.

1. Tap Start Chat.

2. Use the options to tell the assistant what you want, such as the pages you'd like to add, your logo etc.

5. Choose between the following options:

   • Connect a Domain: Purchase a custom domain or connect a domain you own to your site.

   • Explore the App: Learn more about the Wix app.

6. Choose between the following options:

   • Get a Domain: Purchase a custom domain or connect a domain you own to your site.

   • Download the app: Download the Wix app from your mobile app store.
