🗣️ What Claude Voice Conversations Are

Voice mode, in beta, lets you talk to Claude and hear replies. It's on every plan, including Free, across iOS, Android, desktop and web, and works best on phones.

On web or desktop, click the sound wave icon in the lower right. On mobile, tap the sound wave icon beside the microphone.

Options:

🔄 Switch between text and voice mid-conversation
📧 Use connected tools like Gmail
🙌 Choose hands-free or push-to-talk

💡 Pro tip Use push-to-talk in noisy places so background sound doesn't interrupt.

⚠️ Limits

Voice chats count toward usage limits, and Claude Fable isn't currently available in voice mode.
