Step by step. 🔑

🔑 Claude SSO Setup: Who and Where

Available on Team, Enterprise and Console. Owners or Primary Owners set it up on Team and Enterprise; Admins on Console.

🪜 The Steps

In order:

  • 🌐 Verify your domain with a DNS TXT record

  • 🔗 Connect your identity provider through the WorkOS flow

  • 👥 Choose provisioning: invite-only, JIT or SCIM

  • 🔒 Turn on Require SSO

🔒 Enforcement

Require SSO forces SSO sign-in. Users must be assigned to the Anthropic app in your IdP, and enforcement can be turned off anytime.

💡 Pro tip Save the DNS verification value before leaving the screen; it isn't shown again.

🚨 Avoid Lockouts
