🟦 What the Claude Microsoft 365 Connector Does

Searches and analyzes SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook and Teams content. Write actions like sending email are available only if your admin enables them; attachments aren't supported.

🛠️ Setup

All plans, but you need a Microsoft Entra work account; personal @outlook.com accounts don't work. On Team and Enterprise, the Owner enables the connector and an Entra Global Administrator grants one-time consent.

🔒 Security Model

Key points:

🏠 A proxy that fetches only during queries, with no file caching
🔑 Encrypted tokens; passwords are never seen
👤 Access mirrors your own Microsoft 365 permissions
✍️ Write tools restricted, Teams messages need confirmation

⚠️ Limits

Conditional Access location or network restrictions aren't supported. Admins can revoke permissions in Entra anytime.
