🧩 What Claude Live Artifacts Are

Cowork artifacts created before August 19, 2026. You can view, open and share them, but not edit them directly. Newer artifacts work like regular artifacts.

🔎 Finding Them

Look in the Artifacts sidebar for the Cowork label and filter as needed. Organizations on CMEK, zero data retention or HIPAA-ready setups keep live artifacts.

♻️ Making Changes

Open the artifact, click Share and republish it as a new artifact. People with the existing link see the updated version.

💡 Pro tip Republish your most-used dashboards once, so future edits are simple.

⚠️ Sharing Limits

Sharing is organization-only, with no public links. Viewers use their own connectors and data access, so missing access shows an error. Only open shared artifacts from people you trust.
