Gift purchases are paused for all accounts, and no return date has been announced. Gifts that were bought earlier remain valid and can still be redeemed.

Gifts cover either the Pro or the Max plan, with the full features of that plan. They were delivered by email with a personal note, or as a shareable link.
🔑 Redeeming a Claude Gift Subscription
Redeeming takes a minute and needs no credit card:
1️⃣ Open the gift email or link and click the redeem option
2️⃣ Sign in on the web, or create a Claude account
3️⃣ Confirm, and the plan is applied to your account
Any Claude account can redeem a gift, whatever email address received it.

A few rules to know before redeeming:
📅 Gifts expire 365 days after the purchase date
🚫 Gifts can't be stacked or redeemed together on one account
📱 Active iOS or Google Play subscribers must wait until that subscription ends
⬆️ Web Pro subscribers gifted Max get Max temporarily, and unused Pro time becomes credit
💡 Pro tip Redeem a gift soon after receiving it so the one-year expiry never catches you out.
