Creating a branded site with a Just Logo / Free plan

Choose from 3 branded site templates available with Just Logo or Free plans. Then customize your chosen template to suit your brand.

To get a branded site:

1. Go to the Brand Studio.

2. Click the My Brands drop-down at the top.

3. Select the relevant brand.

1. Scroll to the Get a branded website section.

2. Hover over the website template and click Choose a Website.

3. Choose a website type: Online Store, Basic Website or Landing Page.

4. Click Edit this website at the bottom.

5. Customize your site as much as you want.

6. Click Save, then Publish when you're ready.

Creating a branded site with a Logo and Online Presence plan

Each Logo and Online Presence plan comes with a dedicated site template assigned to it. This means the available site template you receive depends on the Logo and Online Presence plan you have.

To get a branded site:

1. Go to the Brand Studio.

2. Click the My Brands drop-down at the top.

3. Select the relevant brand.

1. Scroll to the Your branded website section.

2. Hover over the template and click Edit Site.

3. Customize your site as much as you want.

4. Click Save, then Publish when you're ready.

How do I view my live site?

After you publish your site, it automatically appears online and is accessible by anyone entering your site URL or domain name. Learn how to view your live site

How do I change the URL assigned to my site?

When a Wix site is published, it receives a "free domain" or URL with the name Wix in it. The format of the free Wix site URL is siteprefix.wixsite.com/siteaddress.

You can replace the free Wix URL by connecting your own domain name (e.g. www.mystunningwebsite.com) to your site at any time. Or, you can purchase a domain from Wix.

Having your own domain improves your SEO, which helps you get better placement in search engine results.

I don't want to use the site template that comes with my brand. How can I get a different one?

You can always create a site using any of our templates and assign your plan to that site.

Start by looking through the template menu to find the category that best describes your business, or the website you want to create. Choose your favorite template, then customize it to make it your own.

If I update my logo design, does my branded site design automatically update too?

No. The branded site template that comes with your logo is based on your original logo design. You must update your site manually to reflect any changes to your logo.

To update your site:

1. Go to the Brand Studio.

2. Click the My Brands drop-down at the top.

3. Select the relevant brand.

4. Scroll to the Your branded website section.

5. Hover the template image and click Edit Site.

6. Update the relevant parts of your site.
   

Can I apply the branded colors and fonts of my logo to an existing site?

No. Currently, it is not possible to apply the colors and fonts you used in your logo to an existing site. If this is something you'd like to see in the future, vote for that feature.
