Changing the language of your blog

Wix Blog supports 28 different languages. You can change your site's language to change all of the default blog text that your visitors see (such as the text that appears on buttons).

What languages are available?

Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, and Turkish.

To change the language:

1. Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.

2. Click Language and Region.

3. Click the Site language drop-down to select the language for your site.

4. Click Save.

Writing blog posts with right-to-left alignment

You can write posts in languages that require right alignment. Wix currently supports two right-to-left languages, Hebrew or Arabic. In the post composer, the placeholder text is always in English. Simply start composing your post in Arabic or Hebrew, and the text will automatically align to the right.

Writing posts with right-to-left alignment:

1. Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.

2. Click Language and Region.

3. Click the Site language drop-down and select Arabic or Hebrew.

4. Go to Blog in your site's dashboard.

5. Click + Create New Post or click an existing post.

Can I display my blog in more than 1 language?

Yes. Wix Multilingual can translate your site content to suit the language of your site visitor based on their location. This allows your blog content to display in a localized way that your site visitor can enjoy.

If I change my site language, does it also change on my dashboard too?

Changing your site's language does not change the language of your dashboard, editor or communications you get from Wix. These settings are determined by your account language.

Your account language settings can be found in the Settings tab in your site's dashboard. Scroll down to General and click Language and Region. Click the Account language drop-down to change it.
