A cover image is the image displayed with a post in the following ways:

• In your blog feed

• When sharing a post on social media

• In a Custom Feed element

Note:

If you upload an image to a post, that image is used as the cover image - unless you replace it with a cover image, according to the instructions below.

To add a cover image to post:

1. Go to your site in the Wix app.

2. Tap Manage at the bottom right.

3. Tap Blog.

4. Tap Posts.

5. Tap the post you want to edit.

6. Tap More actions next to the relevant post.

7. Tap Post Settings.

8. Tap the Select cover image toggle.

9. Select an option:
   Upload an image:Tap Upload Cover Image.
   Select an image or take a picture.
   Tap  Upload.
   Tap Next.
   
   Choose an option:Publish Post
   Save as Draft
   
   Replace the existing image:Tap  the image.
   Tap Replace Image.
   Select an image or take a picture.
   Tap  Upload.
   Tap Next.
   Tap Save.
   
   Choose an option:Publish Post
   Save as Draft.
   

Note:

You can go back to the settings and tap the Display Cover Image toggle:

• Enabled: The image you added is displayed in the post feed, custom feed, recent posts feed, and when sharing the post on social media.

• Disabled: The image you added is displayed only when sharing the post on social media.
